 Saks Event Benefiting Artist Foundation of San Antonio

On Saturday, December 12, 2009 Saks Fifth Avenue hosted an in-store benefit shopping event offering supporters of the Artist Foundation of San Antonio a 15% shopping discount on select items and 5% of  the event’s sales were donated to the organization.

 

Attendees experienced  lively, artistic and festive shopping environment created by a variety of local artists and performers provided by the Artist Foundation. Musical entertainment included: jazz ensembles including chanteuse Katchie Cartwright and Rick Oppenheim plus artist/singer Bettie Ward and the Bumblebees; performers from Attic Rep Theatre, San Pedro Playhouse; readings by actors including Mellissa Marlowe and John McBurney's.Stylish actor models. Shoppers enjoyed sweet & savory noshes champagne and martini's by Coco Chocolate Lounge, all this was while supporting a great, creative cause to Benefit the Artist Foundation of San Antonio.
