TIM QUINN ARMANI SUMMER TIPS

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of having Armani Beauty’s Celebrity Face Designer and National Director of Creative Artistry, Tim Quinn, do my make up during his Personal Appearance at Neiman Marcus. He has been with Armani Beauty since September 2001 when the brand lunched their products. Armani has become one of the most luxurious and prestige cosmetics brands in the market due Tim’s leadership. He has worked with top fashion models to Hollywood stars. From Uma Thurman to Glenn Close to Katie Holmes to the everyday woman, Tim's approach to makeup is clean, modern and natural. When I first met him we had an instant connection, he has an enjoyable personality with a mix of celebrity and a generous dose of warmth. I insanitly knew that my face was in great hands. We had a conversation about some of the Armani products and he gave me some tips to keep my make up looking natural and fresh in summer weather. We had a great time talking and we ending scheduleing and interview and bellow are the answers. Q: What are the basic summer beauty products every woman living in Texas weather must own to keep their make up looking fresh?
A: Master Primer is an essential tool for the summer in Texas - it helps extend the wear ability of your makeup in the heat and humidity - I also am a big advocate of proper hydration for the skin - especially the eye area - our *Crema Nera Eye cream is amazing - and what's great is that it comes with a mirror so that you can carry it with you and check your eyes throughout the day - with the heat and bright sun we tend to squint more, causing makeup to gather in the tiny lines around the eyes- tap a bit of eye cream over top and instantly refresh your look. Also LSUV or *Face Fabric - both light weight foundations with SPF 
Q: What are the basic make up products every woman should carry with her during summer?
A: Always keep your lips, your *Crema Nera Eye Cream and bronzer handy - I also advise women to carry a concealer - you can handle most any issue with these tools...
Q:What are the hottest day and evening trends for summer 2009? A: As for trends - keep it simple - focus on shimmering eyes in earth tones and metallics - for evening - play up with emerald jewels tones and lots of lashes. Bronzer is a huge trend - be sure to match your face to the neck and decoletage...Nude lips are still on trend - but also seeing lots of bold poppy and corals.  Q: What is your definition of beauty? A: For me beauty is all about knowing oneself and having inner peace and confidence - at all ages - makeup best enhances inner beauty
Q: Can you share with us some of the celebrity secrets to keep a healthy skin?
A: Every Celebrity I work with considers a monthly facial to be a must - also plenty of water and rest - of course a few Botox shots offer some help as we'll...
Q: Of all your accomplishments What do you consider has been your greatest honor? A: I've been privileged to travel the world meeting women of not only incredible beauty, but also amazing strength and resilience at all ages -- being able to do a job I love is for me the greatest honor
Q: On the other hand, What is your favorite place in the world and why?
A: I can honestly say that I adore the beach - anywhere in the world - as long as I am with friends and family...
Q:What are your three things that you must take with you on a trip?
A: always have my bberry, a few good books and my fave Armani cashmere blanket - those planes can be freezing..
Q: What is your favorite food? A: Salmon. - prepared any # of ways
