Soon Dubai will be internationally known as the home of the "Burj Dubai" -Arab of "Dubai Tower"- the tallest man-made structure on earth. Burj al Arab is the top luxury hotel in the world. The construction began on September 21, 2004, and it is expected to be completed and ready for occupation in September 2009. The imponent construction will be the only "7 Star" category hotel on earth, is 1,053 feet high and Standing on an artificial island 280 meters from Jumeirah beach, it is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. Designed to resemble a billowing sail, the hotel soars to a height of 321 metres, dominating the Dubai coastline. This all-suite hotel reflects the finest that the world has to offer.
